Tonometer
The EQUILibrator Tonometer is designed for
the gas equilibration of solutions. It is primarily intended for
use with EQUIL® Controls, a bovine hemoglobin solution used to monitor
the performance of blood gas instruments.
Low pO2 Values
RNA Medical® Brand QC 463 EQUIL Plus with Glucose and Lactate Control is a unique quality control material, which untonometered, has a typical pO2 value of 2 mmHg. Originally intended for use with tonometry, EQUIL may have utility as a low pO2 control in certain applications. RNA also has other products such as QC 823 Range, designed to check the analytical measurement range (AMR) of blood gas, electrolyte and metabolite instrumentation.
