Rapid HIV-1/2 Antibody Controls

Xsera Rapid HIV-1/2 Antibody Controls are unassayed positive and negative quality control materials used for monitoring the performance of qualitative rapid HIV-1 and HIV-2 test kits.

The Department of Public Health in San Francisco is currently working on an eighteen month study, using RNA’s Rapid HIV 1/2 Controls. Because the Xsera is for use on multiple kit types, the Department of Public Health is able to run the controls across several of the Rapid HIV test kits they are using. This study is being conducted under the umbrella of The Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA.
